Flowrox Acquires Filter Manufacturer NovaTek

Polar-Automaatio’s parent company Flowrox successfully completed the sale of its valve- and pump businesses to Neles. Flowrox company rebranded to Roxia. At the same time also Polar-Automaatio’s name changed to Roxia Automation Oy.

Flowrox Oy, a leading manufacturer of industrial valves and pumps, has acquired NovaTek AB, Swedish filtration technology company. This acquisition complements Flowrox’s product offering, including filter maintenance and spare parts services, and a growing variety of automation and accompanying services.

“Flowrox aims to grow not only its existing core, valves and pumps business, but also selected strategic growth areas. With the acquisition of NovaTek, we are seeking to grow in the solid/liquid separation”, says Simo Manninen, Vice President of Marketing at Flowrox.

“Flowrox was a natural choice to become a new home for NovaTek filters. Our customers will continue to receive the same products and services as before. After the acquisition, they will benefit from Flowrox’s wide range of other suitable products. Another advantage is Flowrox’s worldwide sales and service network with local experts close to the customers. We are convinced Flowrox is the best successor to the business that our father Lars Dellham created,” say Catarina and Robert Dellham, owners of NovaTek.

NovaTek filters are preferred in metallurgical industries to filter cadmium, cobalt, chlorine, copper and selenium. They can also be used for several other applications, such as polishing of pickling acids in steel industry, pigment separation and washing, and in power plants in the separation of gypsum.
